Dear SGISD,

It’s hard to believe that the 2012-2013 school year is already quickly coming to an end!  It has been a great year and we are already looking forward to 2013-2014! 

This Spring has been very busy with extracurricular events and testing.  We are so proud of the jobs that our teams are doing representing SGISD.  I get compliments every where I go about how well behaved our students are and have such great manners!  Thank you to all the parents for raising such wonderful children.  It is our pleasure to have them in our school!

As STAAR and End-of –Course testing is in full swing, I am excited to see our results at the end of the year.  The students did such a great job on their tests last year that I know this year will be even better! I want to thank our hard working staff for all that they do to help our children be successful!

I hope that you are enjoying watching our children perform whether it is our award-winning One Act Play, our baseball/softball teams or our track teams.   Being in the audience or stands to support them means so much to them and to their coaches/sponsors! 

It’s a great day to be a Lion!!
