This Health Professions CAMP video was hosted in partnership with UTRGV Upward Bound Brownsville . It features just a glimpse of the CAMP experience. The College 1st Team strives to provide UTRGV Upward Bound Students the best college and career success experience by engaging them in academic-enrichment activities and mentorship opportunities. We work with these students in designing their future and linking the existing school district resources and programs of study with their high school, college and future career plans. This work is only possible with the strong partnership established with the UTRGV Upward Bound Administration. We are very grateful for this opportunity and look forward to continue working with these students and their parents. I want to be a doctor because I want to help people who are in need and Save Our Lives my day was great it was super informative and I got to learn a lot about the different medical career paths the different educational requirements it would take to get into each branch of the medical field my day was really interesting I feel like I really got to get a better understanding of what the future holds for me in the medical field and get a better Glimpse at what I can do in my future I think college first camps can really guide me and leave me in the right direction to find the career that I like these camps motivate me because it gets me prepared for what I know that I want to experience in life it helps me and guides me through all the information that I need to know to be successful in life I want to be successful so I can help everyone in this world who needs help so we can all be happy healthier together really in the end I want to be an anesthesiologist I just I mean they really do hold the lives of someone in their hands and it's really important that they know what they're doing and to be that person that can assure them that they're going to be okay throughout the surgery process is just um really rewarding I think uh college first can really motivate kids and help them them find the passion for what they want to do in the future um college first can really motivate me to find the right career that I want to join when I'm older I want to be successful for the people in my life in the future I want to help everybody that's around me so by my says I can help guide theirs as well uh college first can really help motivate and guide students giving them all the information necessary so they can find success and decide what they want to do in their life thank you sending it to this Academy Peck for leading me in the right direction thank you so much for guiding me through my success thank you Senator Peck for this amazing opportunity
