Programs
- No Child Left Behind (NCLB) The title programs fall under this law, and we have a district-wide federal program for the purpose of preventing students from being At-Risk of dropping out of school. Also, parents are allowed to know the credentials of teachers under this law, along with requiring Parent-Teacher conferences.
- English as a Second Language (ESL) Any student, who has a home language other than English and has been identified as Limited English Proficient, shall be served by an ESL teacher. An annual meeting (LPAC) will be held to address their needs and review their assessment on TELPAS.
- Gifted and Talented The state provides for a program of instruction for students who have been identified as gifted or talented in a specific academic area.
- PRS continuing educational services are available while a mother is recuperating from child birth, in order to prevent school drop out.
