- Special Education services are offered through IDEA for students with disabilities. The district is required to do Child Find, which is locating any child from birth to 21 years who may have a disability. If you know of such a child residing within SGISD, please contact your school principal.
- Dyslexia is a disorder that is manifested in a difficulty learning to read, write or spell, and often has a genetic link. Diagnosis will result in a specially designed reading program.
