Welcome to the Santa Gertrudis Athletics Department! Home of the Lions where we are always excited and ready to represent our District, our Community, and our Families with PRIDE!

Our goal at SGISD Athletics is to have a better attitude and better effort than our opponents every day! Working out and improving everyday has not been without its challenges this year especially since the spring. Virtual learning and workouts at home have become much more common and our students and coaches have had to adjust, adapt and overcome!

On behalf of all the Santa Gertrudis Coaching Staff we would like to thank Superintendent Dr. Alfaro, Principal Charles Odom, Principal Fatima Garcia, SGISD Faculty and Staff as well as our Board of Trustees and Booster Clubs for all their support in providing the best experience for our students both in the classroom and on the field.

My wife and I are so happy to have our family back at Santa Gertrudis ISD. The commitment to excellence from everyone at our District is second to none.
