Dear Students, Parents, Staff, and Community Members,

I am thrilled to introduce myself as your new principal and to embark on this exciting journey together. Our district theme for this year is “Unleash the Lions” which perfectly encapsulates our mission to lead with courage, strength, and unity.

“Unleash the Lions” means embracing our inner strength and showing resilience in all our endeavors. It signifies our commitment to academic excellence, personal growth, and community service. I encourage our students to set lofty goals, challenge themselves, and never shy away from obstacles. You are the lions, and your roar – your voice, your actions, your success – defines our pride.

I am deeply honored to work in a school district that has a strong winning tradition in and out of the classroom. I believe the strong support system and collaboration amongst all stakeholders has been the key to Santa Gertrudis ISD’s success. Let’s continue working together with renewed energy and enthusiasm. And remember that “Unleash the Lions” is not just a theme, it’s a call to action. Together we will stride forward with courage, embrace challenges with resilience, and achieve greatness with unity.
