AHS Mission/Vision

Thorough hard work and focused dedication, our mission is to provide a quality, performance-based educational program, utilizing a year-round school calendar, which guarantees that every student is college and career ready. We believe that a quality educational program should provide for individual student needs, by providing for appropriate analysis and monitoring of student performance, incorporate the use of technology as an instructional tool, provide opportunities for parental and community involvement, with opportunities for parent training, and ensure adequate funding is available to maintain a program of academic excellence in the interest of the whole child.

 

The vision for Santa Gertrudis Academy High School is to provide a highly-successful learning environment that produces a student who can contribute to a highly competitive, global market. Learning opportunities will be afforded to the individual who will become an agent of his/her learning and rationalize decision-making in an effort to become a self-advocate in the areas of college and career.
